I swear some Europeans actually have a fetish for hating America. It's quite pathetic. Not to mention most of their "criticisms" are usually verifiably false and/or just plain stupid.

In any event, I always say to them, "Could you repeat that? I couldn't hear you over the sound of the police knocking your front door off its hinges because one of your memes hurt someone's feelings." And then they almost always claim that doesn't happen, but statistics don't lie.
