Adding up the durations mentioned in the genealogies in the Bible shows that the time from the beginning of creation to the birth of Jesus was approximately four thousand years. Jesus was born approximately two thousand years ago.
You talk about Sola Scriptura but you’ve never participated in the Holy Traditions, have you? Investigated the Holy Mysteries? Participated in the Great Lent? All these other traditions are mandated under the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church created under Jesus Christ, our Lord. The Bible is not the sole authority of the universe, that belongs to God and God alone.
I’m not saying Protestantism doesn’t have its points, neither do I say the same about Catholicism. I’m saying that the original Church under Jesus Christ is the Orthodox Church.
It has been decreed long ago that the First and original church was under Christ Jesus and his Apostles. I shouldn't have to explain more, research it.
Both the Catholic and Orthodox Churches were founded in 33 AD(Originally as the one Christian Church, so I'll refer to it as that)
By 1054 AD, the Christian Church suffers its divide, turning into the Catholic and Orthodox churches.
In 1517 AD, the Protestant Church is formed as a result of Martin Luther's opposition to the corruption in the Catholic Church.
The King James version of 1 Corinthians 4:6–7 says “6And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. 7For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?”
“That which is written” references the Old Testament.
That’s basically saying Christians should only use the Old Testament, which bricks both beliefs.
You’re basically thinking of the Torah, except the Torah has even less.
