What I've been doing besides shitposting on discord | Since eggy's been wanting me to post on imgflip more... Y'know that gundam/armored core inspired mech series I've been working on that probably none of you care about? Well for the last couple months I've been making prototypes for a 1/100 scale figure of the main mech: Dashing Lance; This is what I have so far. Currently on the 7th torso prototype and the 5th or 6th leg prototype. As you can see I've included some armor gimmicks to make it a little more master-grade-like due to being the same scale; Hips are a bit disproportionate... For the first time ever wide hips on a robot are a problem, they were supposed to be 30mm but I screwed up my math somewhere and they ended up being 40mm; The torso can't rotate left or right but can tilt more than just about every Gundam kit I've ever built. I felt like an idiot upon realizing that but I managed to fix the issue without completely redesigning the lower waist. Also working on fixing the hip joint issue but my solution for that isn't fully modeled yet | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

For those who haven't seen the full design or forgot

Lance colors are wrong but I'm thinking of retconning them because this kinda looks nicer. Only reason I haven't fixed it is because this was for a card game playmat and it'd cost 20 bucks to reprint

The armored core inspiration is moreso in the lore than the designs

For example dashing lance very clearly takes inspiration from Gundam with how it's pretty slim and clean looking

The lore however fits more with armored core, rather than a story about a war between two nations in space like in Gundam it's a war between a mega corporation who stepped too far, the people who lost control of their lives because of it, and aliens caught in the middle of it all who just want their planet back
