I am the mother of what society calls a "disabled" son. Society is 100% wrong about that but I have a different point to make; We are all born miracles, gifts from God, the Universe, Quantum field, or whatever you call it. If God says you shall be a special miracle it's because he knows how strong you are. He knows your battles and knew you would be strong enough to teach others humility; I do not, and will not ever, feel sorry for my son because he was born deaf; I refuse to feel sorry for anyone that God gives special gifts to; I know it's hard to be special in a world full of people that have been taught you are deficient but God knows your soul is stronger than all the others and if God knows how special and strong you are I don't feel sorry for you. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm proud for you and utterly disappointed in all the people that say they believe life is a miracle from God but then act like if you're different there's something wrong. I'm ashamed of those people for sure but not the ones they call "disabled"
