You know the us has universal healthcare but it is not necessarily free unless you qualify, and you have to qualify to receive the healthcare, and or possibly pay a monthly premium if you qualify, or if you miss the window of enrollment you can get a job and pay for healthcare through employment funded healthcare which is sometimes subsidized by the government depending on the company... Or you can work for the government and get government funded by tax payers health insurance..... With all the different programs you would think healthcare would be cheaper if it went universal for citizens.... But not everyone has the same health conditions, and the potential for doctorial abuse or misdiagnosis, or refusal to diagnose because of insurance use for testing/ the whole world of insurance use in addiction treatment, therapy and the whole line of the most abused healthcare sect, mental health care( which in my belief is the most over diagnosed and medically neglected brain health service in America) but unfortunately most health problems don't happen overnight. It's caused by years of medical neglect or misdiagnosis. So unfortunately our current healthcare system is dealing with a backlog of bad medical advice, and it varies per state. Who gets paid the most doctors or the pharmacy? Is there a cure or does a diagnosis come with a lifetime of costs and the need for health insurance. So many people are screwed without healthcare. It's a messed up situation in general. You basically have to be dirt poor to qualify for America's free universal healthcare, or you have to be terminally Ill or a native American with access to a tribal health center....I digress.
