Since 2020, major supermarkets across the UK and Ireland—including Lidl, Aldi, Asda, SuperValu and Tesco have committed to removing cartoon characters from their own-brand kid's cereals to combat childhood obesity and tackle "pester power". But how come Kellogg's still retain the cartoon characters from their kids' cereals like Coco Monkey and also how come Nestlé still retain their mascot Quik the Bunny from Nesquik cereals and milkshake powders?
