In 2024, LEGO released this Winter Holiday Train (left) which to me looks like the Emerald Night (right) but in smaller scale and in Christmas colors. This Train has smoke deflectors that look like the Emerald Night, its wheel arrangement looks like the Emerald Night but this Train is a 4-6-0 rather than a 4-6-2 like the Emerald Night. This makes me think LEGO could make a Christmas themed version of Emerald Night inspired by this smaller scale train with the exact bricks of the Emerald Night by in Christmas colors. They could also release a sold separately kit of the passenger car the train comes with on its own without the locomotive to add to the train kit and do the same with a Christmas version of it.
