That's wrong on so many levels.
Level 1: Why is clapping worthy of a technical foul?
Level 2: How come Caitlin Clark got a technical foul but not other players? The refs need to be consistent.
Level 3: Why didn't the refs blow the whistle on Alyssa Thomas for punching Caitlin Clark in the throat?
In ordinary life, punching someone in the throat would get you arrested, whereas clapping is a completely legal form of expression protected by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
