He's a threat to exposing their crimes and it scares the hell out of them. Breaking their narratives they've fought so hard to steal tax dollars with fake NGOs and funnel it to their propaganda machine so they can continue with their fraud is a big threat and we saw it with DOGE and them freaking out about it being discovered.
