Non-binary is a real, meaningful word. We can all be grateful not to be making memes by punching holes in a binary punchcard.

There are only two sexes, that is a biological fact. Gender is different. Gender is how society perceives you and while many people identify with there sex, some just don't. My question is why do you care? If it's as simple as sex is biological and gender is societal, what's your problem with it?

The better question is; why would someone need to have a sex change operation after learning that gender is a social construct, especially when they conclude that sex and gender are different?

Okay. So if someone believes that they're non-binary, then that pretty indicates that society is telling them about who they are concerning their gender. Which is bad, because they allow others, especially the nutjobs, to tell them what they think about themselves.
