Sadly for you, he was not saying that Climate Change was going to be used as a tool to redistribute wealth.... he was saying that new climate policy is intended to have effects beyond just saving the environment, but ultimately, new climate policies would make some parts of the energy sector more valuable than others, meaning that the wealth of certain industries like fossil fuels may decline and shift to other areas like green energy. That has happened.

CO2 at 400 PPM may not be that bad for the human and plants directly, but at a certain threshold, too much CO2 is harmful. But also, keep in mind, 400 PPM is dangerous at the global climate scale, and this can cause massive warming. The context depends on determining how dangerous CO2 is.

Economic Systems: The alarmists keep telling us their concern about global warming is all about man's stewardship of the environment. But we know that's not true. A United Nations official has now confirmed this.

The only economic model in the last 150 years that has ever worked at all is capitalism.
