My grandpa was born on the Blackfoot Rez in the 1920s. I got to visit it in the 70s. Back then White Liberals were using the term "Amerinds" but my cousin (who was in AIM) told me, "we are Indians. " most people on the Rez back then used the term Indian or American Indian.
You never saw so many Indian Chief Pocket knives, Savage Rifles or Red Man chewing tobacco pouches in your life.
