Lol, thats funny! I used to have long hair too. I don't miss it living in Fl. now, though. That feeling of it sticking to the back of your neck on hot days...and I dont do ponytails!😄

Yeah, even when I had a full head of hair, I kept it off my shoulders for work, then, probably 30 years ago I started getting a flat top, which I kept until the hair got too thin. When had the long hair during my skool daze, I would never ever tie it up! I let my hair hang, like the Ramones 😎👍 I see dudes with long hair now, and it’s tied up or in a “man” bun, Hell No!

Although I knew early on that I would lose my hair on top because of my dad and grandfathers having the same, I’m glad it didn’t happen early. The guy in the picture may be in his 30’s? I knew guys at work that were shiny bald in their 30’s. Mr. Skullet here will be ready to graduate to the comb-over 🤮

I was was horrified to realize that I was starting to get a bald spot in my late 20's. I hung on to my long hair a little into my 30's, but it was a losing battle. Better to just be bald than to look like you're going bald, I figure. As long as your head is shaped well enough to pull it off...

Wow, I shouldn’t complain. My head isn’t a good shape for being bald. My friends used to talk about losing our hair someday and we thought about getting a wild wig, like Elvis, a mohawk, or some weird color. Well.. in my last year of work, I wore several goofy wigs some days. It started Halloween the previous year. There was a girl there that did crazy stuff to her hair… colors, shaving, lines cut… she was my hero. After that Halloween, every couple days, I’d walk in like nothing was up, in my bright orange wig 😁 hell yeah people jumped on me about it, but I didn’t care. Soon enough, it was just a normal routine, which made me feel at peace. Maybe I’ll send a few pics 😁

Baseball hats are what I wore the most. I liked the low profile “rider” style.

I would wear a baseball hat, or a boonie hat when outside, mainly because I kept my hair so short, I didn’t want to burn. After I retired, I would put sunscreen on my head and go out without any hat. It’s cooler without the hat, which would make me sweat. Then I tried a cowboy hat… I still go out without a hat, but when I do wear one it’s a cowboy hat. It has more character than all my beat up baseball hats, which I tossed. I like getting some sun on my head and face. Always wearing a baseball hat, my balding head would be white, as well as my face because of the brim of the hat. I need a little color! ☀️
