Walmart is a horrible infection that is wiping out local businesses. As weird as it may seem, we don't have one here in New York City. There's a lot of big chains we don't have here, that's basically because there's not enough room for them.

People from the South and small towns love Walmart because they're so bored they have nothing better to do and don't have many stores to begin with. So they go to them, abandoning the small stores in their towns. Then after those small stores close permanently, they start complaining about having to drive half an hour each way to Walmart just to buy a quart of milk when they need one.
