So first off, Christianity is a neat religion, just like about every religion is. Apart from some individuals, Christians are chill fellas whose beliefs I accept.
Now that this is off the table, let’s talk about the individual whose beliefs I don’t quite agree with. Cause many people are clowning on Christianity, while the problem isn’t even in Christianity, but in Christians who misinterpret or even rewrite the Bible.
Let’s start with the infamous Leviticus 20:13 (I think it was that one). This Bible verse may be homophobic, but it doesn’t say: „A man being with another man is an abomination“, it says „a man lying with another man is an abomination“. So it doesn’t ban being gay, it bans gay sex. Which is banned anyway, since it’s sex without the intent to make children, and therefore lust.
Since Anti-Christians mostly use Leviticus 20:13 as an argument against Christianity, there seems to be no other issues with Christianity. Some Christians however treat the Bible like a buffet where they can take the verses they like and leave out verses they don’t like. This leads to them fighting sin with sin, and saying that committing certain sins is in God‘s will (it obviously isn’t). Examples for such behavior are the crusades, harassment of gays and other religions, and Pete Hegseth saying that the war in Iran is in God‘s will.
