Scarlet and Violet are better than freaking BDSP at least. BDSP, while being games that I don't hate, they suck.

Oh yeah, I forgor those games existed. BDSP I'd say is only slightly worse than Scarlet/Violet, just because of its ignorance of the existence of Platinum. Scarlet/Violet is stupid, I don't like most of the music, Nemona is f**king annoying, and it is SO F**KING RETARDED that you have to take a f**king TEST before fighting the elite four. The legendaries are mid, the lag is unbearable, the introduction is so long and retarded that it would make Twilight Princess blush, and Team Star is just a bunch of butt-hurt bully victims and failed school shooters led by a femboy trannie who masturbates to Eevee.

I think Sword and Shield have worse music overall. While some were absolute bangers like Leon's theme at the end of the game, some songs were absolutely cringe as hell like Eternatus Phase 3. I dislike it because of how Zacian and Zamazenta just howl over it in fact, I hate the songs with Howling in them because it feels like people would say, "I've unleashed my inner alpha wolf" or something cringe like that.

I don't like how Sword and Shield take so long before being able to fully catch a pokemon. I think Legends Z-A is the absolute worst game in this case as the tutorial is longer than the average YouTube Video which is insane.

Fair, Master whatshisface from Isle of Armor has a banger theme and the music thing is more my personal preference. I know Scarlet/Violet is a kid game, but they didn't have to make the music and story THIS cringe. I miss when there was actually a good story in Pokémon games.

I like Hoenn and Unova's Stories a lot. They are pretty good. Unova has a better story though and tbh, it's probably the generation that set the standards for amazing story telling. Let's just throw that out the window in Sword and Shield. Sword and Shield have an absolutely abysmal story. It's all about the Darkest Day or whatever bullshit Gamefreak pulled out their ass to make the story. The story feels so half baked it's insane. Chairman Rose is by far the worst villain in any pokemon game as his one goal is to awaken Eternatus and start a 2nd Darkest Day which like, no. I came for a good and compelling storyline and plot not a garbage one. Sword and Shield feel like Meta Era Sonic Writing and I'm not even joking.

I beg to differ. It's been awhile since I did a playthrough of SwSh, but however bad Rose is, Penny was a much worse "villain." They pulled that twist out of their ass as much as they did the second darkest day thing. If not more. And the same thing with Arven's mom being dead and now a robot. Boo f**king hoo. The thing is about Scarlet/Violet and maybe SwSh, they did a very bad job at making me give a f**k.

I think they could've done Penny's storyline a lot better tbh. Penny isn't that much of a compelling character at all. But, I still think Chairman Rose is one of the worst villains not just in Pokemon, but of all time as well. I liked Legends Arceus' story and how they built up to the main events throughout the story. Makes me wish that they did the same thing with SwSh, SV, and LZ-A. In Legends Z-A, all the story is just "Ooh, strategy meeting because we say that we can" or "ooh do this thing and defeat a rogue mega pokemon because we say so." Gamefreak needs to buckle down on their stories tbh. I swear if Winds and Waves has a trash story, I'll be very pissed.

Don't expect much. Looking at Scarlet/Violet, and how Nintendo is holding Gamefreak at gunpoint at this point, it may just be worse.
