Trump denies asylum to even Iranian Christians?
Ironic, as many Armenians had fled to Iran to escape when Turkey was trying to exterminate them, their descendants still there to this day. Iran is also Armenia's closest ally and economic partner and all that, being a landlocked nation pretty much left out by the rest. They have ties going back thousands of years.
Iran has the largest refugee population in the world, being surrounded by war-torn countries obviously has a lot to do with it. Although I heard a couple years ago they might have been kicking some Afghanistanis out. Not sure about the story there, I got to look into that one.
