College sports are getting too expensive because the NCAA is overregulating them. The NCAA is intruding too much into player's personal lives. Remember Tattoogate? Five Ohio State University players traded memorabilia for free tattoos, and it turned into a huge scandal. Here's my solution: Lay off a large number of NCAA personnel who are doing things besides refereeing games. To soften the blow, recommend them for jobs with police departments where they can fight real crime.
If these overzealous people at the NCAA had been in law enforcement agencies, they probably could have prevented many school shootings and saved many lives.
