Thats not breaking generational trauma, that's breaking the whole generation if he doesn't have kids. And just affirming the harsh words he was taught, thinking he's not good enough to have kids. The true way to break the generational trauma would be to actually have kids, and then speak positive words of affirmation and love over them as they grow up.
