The Foolsblade has been taken to the pantry! | Tune in Friday for the Grand Finale of the Quest Sprout Marathon!

Well that was a chaotic part now, wasn't it?

I'd like to see a follow-up where the Foolsblade possesses Quest Sprout again, however that happens, and tries to influence him into harming his friends, only for Quest Sprout to resist it.

The scene could go something like this:

[The Foolsblade purposefully knocks itself over.]
The Foolsblade: Oh dear! I've fallen down, and I can't get back up! If only there was someone kind enough who could pick me up and stand me again...

[Quest Sprout walks over to the Foolsblade.]
Quest Sprout: Qwest!

[Granny, Langeschwert, Mincer, Hack, and Hash watch as Quest Sprout crouches down to pick up the Foolsblade.]
Langeschwert: Wait a minute...

[The group is now trying to warn Quest Sprout.]
Hack: Quest Sprout, no!! Don't do it!!
Hash: Stop!!
Granny: Don't pick it up!!

[Quest Sprout has now picked up the Foolsblade.]
The Foolsblade: Tee hee hee! Fool you once, shame on me.

[The Foolsblade begins possessing Quest Sprout, who realizes that he's just been tricked.]
The Foolsblade: Fool you TWICE... shame on YOU!

[Quest Sprout is now possessed.]
Quest Sprout: Jest!

[The others are watching on in horror.]
Mincer: He's possessed again!! Quick, take cover!!

(Insert scene of Quest Sprout causing chaos in the tavern with his friends taking cover.)

[Quest Sprout's hands morph into giant arms to grab Mincer's sword on the ground.]
Mincer: Hey, that's my sword!

[Quest Sprout points the sword at Mincer, who backs off nervously.]
Quest Sprout: Jest!

[Just before he can attack Mincer, Quest Sprout regains some consciousness to see what the Foolsblade is making him do. His eyes have turned back to normal.]
Quest Sprout: Q-qwest!

[Quest Sprout looks at his reflection from a spilled drink puddle, and gasps in horror at the sight of his transformation.]

[Quest Sprout loses his consciousness as the Foolsblade continues possessing him. His eyes have turned yellow and evil again.]
Quest Sprout: Jest!

[Quest Sprout chases his friends with Mincer's sword and continues making a mess, but tries to resist.]

[Quest Sprout's body goes back and forth between his normal self and his jester self, dropping Mincer's sword.]
Quest Sprout: Qwest! Jest! Qwest! Jest!

[Granny and Langeschwert are hiding behind the counter, peeking at Quest Sprout.]
Granny: What is he doing?
Langeschwert: He's trying to resist!

[The two personalities conflict in Quest Sprout's body as it becomes a rapidly-changing amalgamation of both. He begins to lose his balance and nearly falls over.]

[Quest Sprout's body returns to his jester self, with the Foolsblade seemingly dominating him.]
Quest Sprout: Je... je... je...

[Quest Sprout's eyes have turned back to normal. He is fiercely yelling out.]
Quest Sprout: QWEST!!

[Quest Sprout, turning completely back to normal, uses his powers to suck the Foolsblade out of his body. It lands in his hand.]
The Foolsblade: Ah! What the!?

[Quest Sprout begins summoning a sword-breaking spell from his other hand. The Foolsblade nervously sweats.]
The Foolsblade: W-wait, no! D-don't destroy me!

[Quest Sprout glows with power as he threatens the Foolsblade, which is now scared.]
Quest Sprout: Qwest!
The Foolsblade: I-I'm very sorry! I p-promise not to possess you ever again!

[The others have come out of hiding.]
Hack: Do you promise not to possess us, too?
The Foolsblade: Y-yes, I promise! I won't possess any of you! A-at all! I really really promise!

[The Foolsblade tearfully panics.]
The Foolsblade: JUST DON'T DESTROY ME, PLEASE!!

[Quest Sprout continues to glare at the now traumatized Foolsblade.]

[Quest Sprout happily shows himself holding the Foolsblade without getting possessed to the others.]
Quest Sprout: Qwest!

[The others are looking at Quest Sprout, impressed.]
Hash: You did it, Quest Sprout! You resisted possession!
Hack: That was awesome, dude!
Langeschwert: You're getting stronger every day!

A few headcanons that inspired this transcript:

- A possessed person can regain consciousness

- Using his magic, Quest Sprout can fight back against the Foolsblade or whatever sword is possessing him

- He has a spell that can break swords apart

- He can glow brightly with power as a way to threaten an enemy*

- The Foolsblade, despite being a menacing sword, is very pathetic and cowardly when the person its possessing proves to be much stronger than it thought

*I can also imagine Momma Sprout being able to do these things, albeit much more powerful.

If things had gone tragically, and Quest Sprout killed his friends, I can imagine the Foolsblade continuing to gaslight him by saying things like "Looks like you couldn't resist my power!" and "Now look what you've done! You've killed everyone you love!", while being all smug about it.

Basically this can be an allegory for people being abused by others and fighting back; The Foolsblade is once again possessing Quest Sprout, who, now having the power to do so, fights to get his body back, scaring the Foolsblade in the process.

I also imagine Quest Sprout, after seeing what it turned into and fighting to get it back, taking the time to love his body and appreciate it the way it is as he takes care of it, which would be a nice little body positivity message.

And as for the Foolsblade, I imagine it being like "Actually... maybe the pantry isn't so bad..." after being spared. I also imagine it being terrified of Quest Sprout, to the point where it has nightmares of him destroying it LOL
