I think I should call the U.S. “Fredonia” in case I don’t feel like calling it the United States, US, US of A, or USA so I don’t confuse it with the Americas; Not using Columbia so I don’t mix up Colombia and the US because HELL imagine accidentally saying “Gran Columbia” instead of “Gran Colombia” and suddenly everyone thinks you mean “Greater United States” and not “Greater Colombia”
