The Chinese have 3 cargo ships of weapons they are trying to get into Iran. The Russians are also trying to resupply Iran. The US would be fools if they played the military/industrial complex games of the past and let Iran resupply. The US would also be foolish to let the Iranian regime generate revenue to finance war by freely shipping oil into the world markets. Hence, the blockade of ships entering or exiting Iran.
