I should add that my dad is super supportive, he just can't really relate to the trans experience. Same thing with the song "The World In My Hands" by Ice Nine Kills. I totally see it as a trans allegory, but that's only because I know the experience. I know how cruel it is to he exposed to everything that I can't touch but still feel, and I apply it to gender.
