Many cherry pick passages, even while claiming the scriptures to be "fairy tales" or they pronounce God to be a monster because they don't agree with His methods. Sadly, far too few "believers" spend too little time reading His story as it pertains to us (The Bible) to resist the Deceiver's outright lies and half truths.
