What used to happen to people that lied or were cheerleaders for the enemy during arm conflicts and wars.

Dems/leftists should be happy this is 2026 and not during WW 2. Why? Because people who lied about the USA's efforts during the war were straight up censored, shut down, if not arrested and nobody had a problem with that including SCOTUS!
