All of the other characters in the comic:
- Granny (The old woman from the first episode)
- Hack (Dude with the black sweater and missing tooth)
- Mincer (Guy with red shirt and face scars)
- Hash (Brown-haired girl)
- Langeschwert (Man with the mustache)
These characters, excluding Hash, get a considerable amount of screentime, but I still think they were very underutilized. Hash, especially, because she has an official description that says she acts as a big sister to Quest Sprout, yet we never get to see them interact in a way that suggests that.*
Another thing I find very strange is that nobody, not even Granny, asked Quest Sprout why he was all by himself in the rain instead of being with Momma Sprout. I mention Granny specifically because she did interact with him prior to Momma going missing. You'd think she would've asked something along the lines of "Where's your mother?", after seeing a child take his blanket with him to look for shelter from the rain instead of being with his parent.**
*And when we DO see Hash return, it's technically not HER interacting with Quest Sprout.
**It's possible that she did ask him that, but Matthew decided not to draw the scene for some reason.
