No. Dig out an old copy of Das Kapital by Marx. It's not even 200 years old at this point.

Karl Marx did not invent socialism. He popularized Marxist socialism but his ideas came from the proto-socialists like Saint-Simon, Charles Fourier, and Robert Owen.

Also wasn't Marx a freeloader as well?
