Pasta Carbonara is one my favorite foods. I had some delivered for my birthday, in fact, with tortellini for pasta. I also ordered chicken with a creamy pasta sauce (but it had no pignoli).
I used to make it years ago also, but without cream. The problem is I can't stop eating it, and it's something so filling, so that's a problem. I feel full, just one more spoon, one more spoon. I start feeling bloated, just one more spoon, one more spoon. I feel like if I eat any more I'm going to get sick, just one more spoon, one more spoon. Then I just sit there for a while, totally immobilized, unable to do, trying not to doze off.
On top of that, a couple of days later I went to a local grocery store that also makes hot foods, and they actually had Carbonara there for the first time. I felt like I was going to cry. I couldn't get a whole tray like I wanted, because I still had three movement some from the restaurant in the fridge. So I bought just a pint. I wish I bought more. But I just can't stop eating it when it's in front of me.
