I got my hip replacement in 2 months. I had to wait on someone to fill in for me at work. I was a newspaper reporter. They hired an untrained guy for that once. He got em sued.
The 5 Canadians and Brits at St Francis in Charleston had to wait 5 years. Then they gave up, borrowed money to pay for the surgery and travel. I paid 20% of the cost with my insurance.
