Believe in a god and give to a nonprofit church, allow said church to save money and hord it for when Jesus returns,..... But come to find Jesus doesn't like money and a holy Ghost can't use it. Lots of people in the world could put money to good use but they don't have it, and it seems that everyone who has money hord it, flaunt it and throw it in your face. Personally the world could use less money. The issue is between the have and have nots. The have classify the have nots as needy, poor, lazy when they are just minimum wage earners trying to survive, and the have nots see the haves as greedy individuals who only care about money, when they are probably people who worked hard and saved their entire life and are afraid to loose or spend their money. The economy takes advantage of both the haves and the haves not.

According to giving and volunteering statistics, practicing Christians are among the most generous people on the planet, with an estimated $143.57 billion given in religious contributions in 2022-2023 (adjusted for inflation). The Catholic Church by itself is also the largest charity in the history of humankind.
Also, Christians donate to more than just churches.

Christianity is leftism in a nutshell. The mormons are among the largest land owners by a religious entity, and have a undisclosed amount of money stored away possibly trillions. These religious entities operate life insurance companies and all do this in a way that still holds money for a invisible entity that might not exist. I'm all for a bright future for humanity, but we still have problems to solve.

Christianity is not left. It's not right. It's not a political party - it's the Kingdom of God on Earth.
If you want to solve those problems you mentioned then the statistics seem to suggest becoming religious because, as I mentioned earlier, religious people make up the majority of charitable giving and volunteer manpower. No other demographic has built more hospitals, more homeless shelters, more crisis-pregnancy centers, more orphanages than the religious has while simultaneously being the most smeared, caricatured, and insulted demographic while doing all the humanitarian legwork.

Ton of people with nothing help people with nothing all the time we have a government that claims to do the same thing Christianity is doing, but it's not equal. Evil can lurk anywhere. I guess what I am getting at is this meme is also describing the same thing religious entities do. Good entitions but with a collective of using other people's money. It's the same concept.

I suppose it is if governments mandating taxation through the threat of imprisonment is identical to Christians voluntarily giving of their time and money is identical to each other....

I guess the government has checks and balances, or is supposed to at least say the money went here, and where it goes from there is up to fate, even the government has funded nonprofit organizations that are tyed to religion. So I think the true issue at hand is money can't solve problems. It can dampen the problems and ease some suffering, but it has never fixed anything. And I think the wrong people have been given access to spend the money. Not saying that the Christian/ charity spend money wrong, but the trickle down economics not really working like it could. Is it to the point where we could live in a economy where the church can pay the rent, and provide the food and shelter? That's a socialist view but honestly the government could provide the same and it does to a point. But not everyone believes in this system, and then you get the political devide saying your left, right or liberal, when in all actually it's a humanitarian issue with Christianity on the table playing some cards.

I think if we want to avoid trickle-down anything, we shouldn't put anyone above us, especially if they have exclusive access to the trickling down of something that everyone will need/want. Since voluntarism is so successful with charity, it's worth trying with political authority. Because what the statistics are showing is that, at the very least, religious people in the country are already willing and able to give out of the generosity of their hearts, so what would that mean if everyone were economically unchained from oppressive taxation and the monopoly of government?
Maybe people should go back to relying on their local churches, their neighbors, and their families for help when they need it IMO.

I personally don't make a living wage but have found a way to live simple, and pay my debts. I have a community with a seed library and over the years have toiled growing vegetables for anyone who needs them or wants them. It wasn't till a few years ago the local soup kitchen turned down a harvest not knowing what to do with the produce. So luckily local church and food pantries have a home for fresh veggies. Even when someone has a desire but lack of money to do what they do little acts of kindness go a long way. I do get discouraged though at times because its not easy surviving in the bottom of the economic ladder

If you have your land to use your own garden and the time to grow your own food and give it away, you are not the bottom of the economic ladder.

What they don't show is that the billionaire paid off Reagan to get lower taxes and is using every loophole in existence to get out of contributing his fair share.

We just want them to pay what they owe

And we just want them to cut taxes and programs so that way we are no longer dependent upon the billionaire class and hoping with crossed fingers that they pay up to support us lowly, meager peasants when we, the peasant class, can take care of each other.
