personally I see it more as people shouldn't feel pressured into trying to over identify with the opposite gender because of how society has stereotyped men and women over the years, and instead people should be able to just be themselves and not be "a guy who acts like a girl" but just a guy with a different personality, and they shouldn't receive hate for it

we should appreciate it not because it looks cool, but because someone took the time and effort to put work into making something that others can appreciate
otherwise we run the risk of all things becoming randomly generated with humanity left unable to do anything but follow the hive

ai generated content takes away from the appreciation for man made art
think of the difference between a hand made, high quality product, like maybe a sword or knife or some tool like that
there is more beauty in something hand crafted than something made in an assembly line
sure something put together with cookie cutter parts could still be "cool," but there is no passion behind something that was simply assembled, as opposed to something being crafted by the hands and passion of a real human person out there
and something mass produced in a factory is still infinitely better than something simply generated with the click of a button
especially when ai generation always has been and always will be at a much lower quality than human made art
because there's no emotion behind ai generated content, no inspiration, no actual talent that goes into it
it's just a cold lifeless png made by someone who wants to type a sentence into shatgpt and get a crappy image instead of taking the time to actually make something
because I'd argue that even just a simple man made stick figure can hold more meaning than an ai generated image
because at least something was put into it

and ai generation is actively killing people's mindsets and work ethics by giving too many people an easy way out of ever trying to actually do something
like people using chatgpt on essays to avoid doing work, or doing the same for images instead of even attempting to draw it themselves

it may not be deep now, but when it gets to the point where it's more convenient to generate than create, who would spend the time making an actual work of art instead of just getting what they want instantly?
not to mention the other impacts of AI that can be seen in the world already, such as driving up the cost of ram, taking more jobs than it can create, and as much as people deny it data centers DO in fact waste extremely excessive amount of water every day

Bezos just fired 30,000 people the other month at Amazon, and is planning to dump another 10,000. This is more upper level, as he's keeping the laborers.. for now. That, of course, will become increasingly automated as well.

It's a good thing the Trump is getting rid of all those illegals, because according to Elon Musk and others, in 10 years (ok, probably handful more than that) the only jobs you're going to be able to get are picking lettuce and mopping floors ... And as for the farm labor stuff, they're already experimenting with robots to do that, so good luck finding anything that doesn't involve scrubbing a toilet or working for sewer lines for a living.
