In this AU, Gigi takes on the look of a glamorous medieval merchant who has way too many accessories:
Draped in layers of shiny fabrics
Necklaces on top of necklaces
Rings stacked to the point she can barely lift her hands
A pouch belt with dozens of tiny trinkets dangling
A big velvet cloak that jingles from hidden items
Her design screams:
“I own everything you want, and no, you can’t afford it.”
Personality
Gigi is:
A massive hoarder
A dramatic flirt
Extremely confident
Always bargaining
Always eyeing valuables
Friendly but opportunistic
The second-greediest toon (Dandy still wins… barely)
She hoards:
enchanted trinkets
shiny junk
valuable artifacts
random trash that might be valuable someday
pretty stones that she claims are worth 10x their value
Her shop is a disaster zone that only she can navigate.
Role: Owner of “Gigi’s Glittering Goods”
Gigi runs Gardenview’s largest (and most chaotic) shop —
a cluttered, magical bazaar stuffed with:
potions
charms
mysterious crystals
cursed items
enchanted scrolls
pretty rocks she insists are rare
and whatever she found under her bed that morning
She charges outrageous prices, like:
a simple potion: 45 gold
a crystal shard: “ehhh 120 sound fair?”
a dusty map: “priceless, dear… but for you? 99 gold.”
Friend Discount
If she likes you, she offers the “friend price,”
which is… just the normal price anyone else would sell it for.
But she acts like it’s the greatest deal in the world.
Abilities
“Shiny Sense”
Gigi can detect treasure or magical items hidden nearby.
A MUST for any true hoarder.
“Overcharge”
She hypnotically convinces people her items are worth more than they are.
(Doesn’t work on a lot of people.)
“Bag of a Thousand Things”
She pulls random items from her satchel —
sometimes useful, sometimes junk, but always surprising.
Friendships & Social Life
Gigi naturally hangs with the other girl toons:
Connie
Connie helps her spy for new treasure sources
Gigi pays her in shiny necklaces and gossip
Connie often scares customers for fun
Flutter
Flutter tries to help organize the shop
Gigi immediately ruins the organization
They bond over sparkly things and fashion
Poppy (sometimes)
Poppy loves her cute trinkets but can’t handle Gigi’s prices,
so Gigi gives her “nervous friend deals.”
Side Story: Her Greed vs. Dandy’s Greed
Gigi and Dandy have a hilarious rivalry:
Dandy hoards gold
Gigi hoards everything
They constantly try to out-greed each other.
Gigi: “My shop has twice the value of your entire castle.”
Dandy: “That’s because you priced a pebble at 50 gold.”
They are both wrong and both right at the same time.
