You do know the difference between the Federal, State, County and City governments don't you? They are not the same and they have different responsibilities. The Federal should have the absolute least responsibility but because all governments crave power they have taken a lot more responsibility than they were set up to take care of.
Police and firefighters are state or county responsibilities. Teachers are school district responsibilities. ICE agents are Federal. Doctors are NOT government responsibilities. Libraries are state, county or city. Some hospitals are state, county or city responsibilities but not all of them. Most hospitals are private. Parks under city control. Polices stations are the same as what I said for police officers. Prisons are federal or state.
But that does not change the fact that taxation is theft. ALL of the above can easily be handled in the private sector, with the possible exception of prisons. I'm not sure how a private prison could earn a profit. For the rest of that we do not need any government for any of that.
Now. Here is the principle on which our government was set up on. Any and all services the government offers must be directly related to the taxation of fees for that service. If the government does not give us return on the money they take from us. For example our military exists to protect our liberty, therefore the money that the government takes from us, if it is not in excess, is a 1 to 1 relationship. We all live safer with the military.
But a library should not be paid for with taxes. Blind people are getting ripped off. People who do not like reading get ripped off.
If I do not have any school aged children then I am getting ripped off.
Police are like the military, they provide a service for everyone. Firefighters are pretty close to the same as police officers. However, some places in the country a voluntary fee can be paid for firefighter services. You do not have to pay that fee and if your house never burns down then that is money saved. However, if your house does catch fire then those fire departments will still put your fire out but they give you a bill for services.
Lots of private schools exist and nearly all of them are of a much higher quality education than public school teachers. It didn't used to be that way but the left has been dumbing down our education for over a century.
This is how our governments should work but taxation is control and they like that
