I remember hearing that story (when I was a kid) and vowing to never go up any hills looking for water. Either alone, or with anyone else. So far, I’ve kept that vow. 😁👍🏻

The same here. Fortunately I wasn't named Jack which does reduce my susceptibility but I've also stayed away from Jills. Ive also never used well diggers that dig for water on the tops of hills. A plethora of wisdom to be gleaned there.

Well we know Jack, at least, suffered a traumatic brain injury with no reason to believe that Jill was spared in a similar fall. Those can negatively affect a person's social interactions.

I'm uncertain as to the origins of the Jack and Jill rhyme. "Mother Goose" or maybe "The Brothers Grimm" published it, but "breaking one's crown" would be the brain injury. The Shrek series, Puss in boots was all based upon those types of stories. Their psycho nature could be attributed to this injuries....so... Both.

Yeah i 100% associate Humpty and Puss to me and my bodybuilder buddy Eros: first super allies, then super enemies. But like how I did with Eros, then Puss forgiven Humpty and Humpty Dumpty actually changed!! I don't think Eros will change tho 😂🤷🏻
