Trump can't name many of the countries he's mentioned, and he's not great with continents (apparently thinks Cuba is in South Africa sometimes) or US cities.
You left out when Democrat Bill Clinton invaded Croatia/Serbia without Congress approval back in 1995. American soldiers died. A dictator over there were killing his own people.
Of course, the difference there is that Congress voted to approve the NATO mission. And with the documented genocide happening there at the time, it wasn't just a Saturday night impulse.
