I mean art history can say a lot about the current time that the work was made in and/or the artist so it's not exactly useless, and it's useful because it feeds into art itself being such a large part of human culture, I don't exactly know what's useful about specifically knowing 100 digits of pi other than as an arbitrary demonstration of memory skills, and it being some long string of numbers which are ultimately not very impactful (and don't even f**king start on "erm pi is a really important number in math!!!!" like as if people knowing its first 100 digits are ever going to use that knowledge in a useful way) in any way

I mainly just have an issue with people making themselves look good it doesn't even matter if they're trying to look nerdy or not because I detest fake people
