His life is, if not the defining moment in human history, one of the greatest. The calendar year designated as 2026 uses His speculated birth year as a "starting point". Prior to His birth used to be referred to as BC, roughly Before Christ and after His birth as AD, Ano Domini (in the year of our Lord). Most scientists say the universe had a beginning. They can't show how it came to be, they can only guess. Life had to start somehow but science shows life can't come from non life, rocks can't create living things. Following rules is not humanity's strong point, it's not just a problem for you. God, the God outlined in the Bible tells us to stay away from things that will injure us. Not just injure our bodies but also our souls. The soul is the real us. The real you. The real me. The body is just a temporary structure where our souls grow and mature. We have all seen or read about caterpillars that, at a certain stage, spin a cocoon where they undergo a change that makes them into a butterfly. God simply wants us all to be the best butterfly we can be. If the world damages the caterpillar it might never make it to the butterfly stage. My apologies if symbolism is troubling but communication is difficult when all parties don't understand the concepts needed. I use symbols to try to bridge that gap.
