Calvinism is Catholicism with less bells & whistles NOT non-Calvinists | According to the Catholic church; Catholics believe that the interpretation of the Bible is entrusted to the Magisterium, which includes the Pope and bishops, as they are seen as the authoritative teachers of the faith. This belief is rooted in the idea that Scripture and Tradition are interconnected, and only the Church can provide the authentic interpretation necessary for understanding God's Word; “It is clear therefore that, in the supremely wise arrangement of God, sacred Tradition, Sacred Scripture, and the Magisterium of the Church are so connected and associated that one of them cannot stand without the others. Working together each in its own way, under the action of the one Holy Spirit, they all contribute effectively to the salvation of souls.” (CCC 95); “The task of giving an authentic interpretation of the Word of God, whether in its written form or the form of Tradition, has been entrusted to the living, teaching office of the Church alone” (CCC 85); “The task of interpreting the Word of God authentically has been entrusted solely to the Magesterium of the Church, that is, to the Pope and to the bishops in communion with him.” (CCC 100; ACCORDING TO CALVINISM; No you blind guides! Roman Catholicism/Eastern Orthodox isn’t Christianity! But before Calvinists start humble bragging from their high horses I tell you the Truth, NEITHER IS CALVINISM! There are elements in Calvinism that’s Biblical just like Arminianism & Molinism. The Truth in My Word is to be taught by undershephereds but I ALONE am the chief Shepherd & ALL Christians can interpret scripture by the direct lead of the Holy Spirit! That’s not “private interpretation,” but Mine & I am capable of communicating My Truth to My children. You teach but I Alone should have the final word on what people are taught & they should read at home & ask Me for wisdom as My Word Instructs. Stop pointing at Catholics & others that do this & look at yourselves!
