He was formerly a member of delta force in the us military but he was also technically a dead man walking, he still is a dead man walking and has retired from the military and is planning on becoming a father to pass down his knowledge and training to. When she walks up the stairs she sees the walls are covered floor to ceiling in military awards, military photos, military equipment, and war trophies, one of the trophies is a red and black mask that under it has a tag saying, “ashara guard captain; Saeed“

Jess: What the- *she looks at the pictures, confused* Who is this guy?

"oh that was saeed, i killed him while at war and took his mask as a trophy. he was a good fighter and i gave him a warrior's death in combat. we were fighting his forces for years and years till i killed him. i respected that man, he was a noble warlord." he says with humillity in his grizzled tone.
