She has: Stone gargoyle wings: short, ornamental, but capable of gliding when magically charged A spiraled ammonite tail that curls behind her Soft chisel-marks like she was lovingly carved centuries ago Bright, friendly eyes carved into the fossil head, glowing with warm amber light Over her stone body, she proudly wears her hand-sewn dragon costume cloak — a medieval version of her dinosaur PJs. It’s made of patched red and yellow fabric. She thinks it’s the coolest thing ever. 💛 Personality Shelly is pure sunshine wrapped in stone: Friendly, bubbly, excitable, and endlessly curious Loves talking about dragons, ancient monsters, fossils, and “prehistoric magic beasts” Constantly shares facts nobody asked for — but in the cutest, most enthusiastic way Craves attention and validation Gets sad when she feels ignored, but tries very hard not to show it Extremely brave when protecting her friends, even if she’s scared She’s basically the group’s heart, always cheering others on. 📜 Role in Dandy’s Dungeon “The Bestiary-Keeper of Gardenview Keep” Shelly is the guardian of a long-forgotten stone library: The Hall of Ancient Bones, where fossil relics, beast statues, and dragon carvings are stored. Her job is to: Clean ancient bones Catalog magical fossils Explain them to confused adventurers Excitedly show everyone every dragon carving she finds She is respected in the keep, even if Dandy sometimes brushes her off. ✨ Abilities 💨 Passive — Fossil Momentum When a magical device or puzzle in the dungeon is completed, Shelly gets a burst of magical speed and energy. Her fossil cracks glow brighter as she darts around excitedly. 🌟 Active — “Ancient Inspiration” Shelly channels fossil magic to boost an ally’s strength, speed, or magical focus for a short time. She usually cheers loudly during this, flapping her little wings. 🐉 Special — “Dragon’s Echo” Shelly summons spectral stone dragon wings behind her — made of glowing fossil dust. They can: Shield allies Lift her in a short glide Create a shockwave if she beats them down at full strength It’s her favorite spell and she uses it every chance she gets. Active— “problem slover” Shelly gives other toons in range a extraction boost like in game but it’s only usable 2 times each floor. 🤝 Relationships Astro Adores listening to her beast tales. She thinks his panic moments are funny and gives him a pep talk every time. “Astro! Astro! Did you know dragons can see in starlight!? Look—look—look!!” Vee Shelly is fascinated by Vee being a golem. Vee sometimes helps her sort fossil shards, calculating age or magical density with cold precision. Shelly calls her “Miss Rune-Face.” Vee pretends to dislike this nickname but secretly keeps it. Dandy Shelly likes Dandy but gets insecure around him. She wants him to recognize her knowledge and efforts… He is more interested in treasure and performances. Pebble Pebble is her favorite person to nap with — both being stone-based. She says Pebble is “the soft rock” and Pebble just nods.
