Well, they probably took a lot of damage.
And the second war was almost mostly Johndolf Smithler's fault, even if them letting him have a few states or countries back kinda also caused it.
France took the most damage out of the Allied countries. But they forced Germany to pay over 50 billion on compensation for a war that they didn't start and only joined because they had an alliance with Austria-Hungary
they also had to disband their air force and severely limit their military, as well as losing a large portion of their land and essentially all of their colonies
