This might be uncomfortable, but this is consent based. I'm an evangelizer occasionally for context. Can you answer these following questions:

Why did you join this community?
If you had a question for Jesus, what would it be?

i joined this community after realising i like men an women, looked up what it was called, then lurked on this stream until i joined the community.
if i had a question for jesus it would be "where did you get the balls to tell everyone you are the son of god and how did you actually convine them?"

Dude, evolution is not just random mutations, it's more complex than that. There's multiple factors, such as natural selection or (I don't know the English expression) pressure that causes selection.
Also, we can observe evolution. For example, we can observe it when watching bacteria develop resistances for antibiotics. There are random mutations (there's a lot of bacteria which leads to higher chances that one of them has the correct mutation, because mutations happen all of the time) and a lot more factors.

I'm not a scientist, so I won't be able to explain everything.
But that's not the point. I don't care whether you believe in design or in evolution. But please accept that we are not converting because there's nothing to be "corrected".

i mean evolution is random
but the mutations only survive through natural selection

yeah no

We are all sinners who fell short of God's glory. The sacrifice that Jesus made cleans the condemnation of our sins when we come to him.

Going to hell. Great. I'm challenging Satan to a holy water drinking contest and conquering hell right after.

I also don't really get why God would even bother.
1) God made people this way, now he has to deal with it
2) Even if it were an illusion of Satan, it doesn't harm anyone. Hate harms people. Rumors harm people. Abuse harms people. But being gay or trans or stuff does not.
3) The point: it harms no one. Murder is clearly a sin for it harms someone (obviously) and also their family and friends. Adultery may be seen as problematic if it's like cheating on your partner because you hurt your partner's feelings and harm your relationship. But being queer is so minor. It doesn't affect anyone in any way except you and your direct surroundings. And if God cares about something that doesn't do any harm, it feels like he's just controlling. If he's actually loving, he accepts people for who they are and judges them if they harm someone.
But that's just my opinion.

Sorry, I think this might seem like it's a reply to Bshot.Banana's comments. It's not, it's just a further explanation that I don't believe in a God that would care about something as unproblematic as queer people.

Rather in hell with cool rebel Lucifer and my trans siblings than heaven with transphobes, bigots and a hateful God!

Jesus is a loving God, but a part of love is correction! The fact that you're still living is proof that God still has his grace over you. He wants you to repent so you don't have to live the eternal price of sin. Please don't do this to yourself, this applies to others because I care.

I can see that you're concerned, and I appreciate your attempts at helping us. But I think you won't be successful. You try to warn us about something that some of us don't believe even exists and some of us don't think applies to queer people because it's not a problem. You can't change people from who they were born as. Abd yes, there's scientific proof of the existence of queer people, such as studies that at least suggest that the brains of trans people are actually more similar to the typical brain structure of their experienced gender. I just don't think it's a problem for anyone and also not for God if God exists. I don't want to start a debate. I just wanna show that missionary work will not work and is not necessary. This stream is meant to be a safe space for queer people where we don't have to worry about hate comments or people trying to convert us. We just want to live in peace and safety. We all want compassion and empathy and solidarity, just like you.

I wish you the best anyways and hope you can understand. Love to everyone!

I'm not gonna let you discourage me from spreading the gospel. The physical world has already strained me of that and this is my new training ground.

You're not spreading the gospel. You're spreading harmful ideas. It's already hard enough for queer people. Please don't try to make it worse. You're just spreading reasons for leaving church by spreading hatred. Your mindset is medieval. The world has changed. Spread love and not hate. God will judge if God exists, this is NOT your task. Leave it up to God. I see it as one of the most evil (for you sinful) things to spread hate. You don't have moral objection. You probably believe that this is up to God. Who are you to judge? Please leave us alone, you've done enough.

Matthew 5:10
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

What harmful ideas!? The gospel ain't just love and acceptance, it's also conviction for sin. Even though the world changes, God will never change. You don't know the times that are coming, it will be horrible. I'm done arguing with you just so you know. Whoever wants to hear the gospel, let them hear.

I let people hear the gospel. I'm not here to judge anyone for their faith. I couldn't care less about what God you believe in.
The harmful ideas: Your ideas about queer people are used as a basis for murder and persecution. You're promoting beliefs that lead to violence. And that's a fact.

Fine, it will be horrible. Looking forward to it. Just know: You've been wasting your time just as much as I did. So please think about your beliefs. I just want a world in which you aren't in danger because of how you were born.
Have a nice day.

I don't wanna kill or persecute ANYBODY, but convicting sin and debating over Christianity is a part of evangelization. My mom's partner's daughter is Trans herself, but I'm still finding a way to express love towards her and I'm looking forward to evangelizing to her kindly as possible. Evangelization is fairly new to me, so it's going to be rough at first. I feel that you're at least deserving of a prayer though.

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever.

Amen.

Matthew 5:11
Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

I can't tell whether or not you're trying to pervert scripture. The verse is about Christians, not nonbelievers. It is basically saying that God will be there for those who face opposition from the world that hates Christ and his children.

You don't have to reply back, but just know how to use scripture properly. Pay attention to the context of what's being spoken.

You're right. I don't always know the exact context. I'm certainly not trying to pervert scripture. What I'm trying to do is learn about it. I've grown up in a Christian society, so I know some of the basics. I'm trying to learn how to read it from an empathic perspective. I've been reading a lot of verses, sometimes out of context. Please know that I'm not trying to be disrespectful or something. I don't believe in any specific God, and I think it's unlikely that an existing God would be anything like Christian or Islamic or any other God you know from religion. But I respect religion and I try to understand those views. And so it happens that I use stuff out of context.

But what we can probably all agree on is: Don't do anything to anyone that you don't want to happen to yourself. This applies to hate, malicious rumors, violence, intolerance and many more.

I hope we're done arguing and can just go our own ways. This debate was kinda exhausting, just like all of social interaction. So have a nice day.

I forgive you.

Little thing to add here: I think satanism like the Satanic Temple does it is just Christianity just without believing in God or Satan (it's atheist) and without the church. It's Christian values: Compassion, emathy, solidarity. They also promote freedom of speech and freedom of religion. They even stopped fighting for a baphomet statue after they learned that if they built it, the 10 commandments would be deconstructed. They don't want to harm Christianity, they just want to provoke thinking. And so do I.

When I talk about loving Lucifer, I don't talk about an evil character but about a character that actually represents exactly what Christians should promote: compassion and empathy. Plus freedom.
