Previously on A Random Tale.....
Four beings from different realities were ripped from their worlds and brought to the Hub, where a mysterious voice told them they were chosen to stop reality itself from collapsing.
Now let's pick up were we left off.
"What!?" The group exclaimed.
"I will not explain again!" the voice boomed as the room shifted and flickered.
Its voice echoed through the white room. Dead silence quickly followed.
Their thoughts began to spiral.
The failure stared blankly at the floor.
"I must be dreaming. It's just a dream."
The lonely woman's knees gave out, and she hit the floor with a thud. "Why me? I'm not special."
The convict kept rambling rivers of unintelligible words. "Yes-no-wait. Are they listening in on me? Stop listening!"
The robot observed the others, studying their actions.
The voice sighed heavily and said,
"I can explain more later, but I have matters to attend to."
The room became eerily still.
The first one to speak was the failure, who said, "Is the voice lying to us?"
The robot's screen responded in big neon letters, "I have no idea."
Minutes turned into hours as they waited for the voice to return. The silence was loud and cruel, with an occasional noise every now and then.
With no warning, the voice spoke again, "I have created rooms for each of you, I suggest you get sleep, because you will need it for the work ahead of you."
Suddenly, rooms appeared with each of their names embedded on the door.
The failure's name was Logan.
The convict's name was Henry.
The girl's name was Anne.
The robot's name was Digi.
"Go on and get some sleep. While you still can."
End of the Introduction.
