What makes you think that it was only ever about securing the border and that the 20 million unvetted illegals the Biden administration allowed to flood into this nation from 2020 through 2024 were going to be ignored? The ONLY states in which violent leftist radicals are interfering with and actually attacking ICE Agents are completely Dem Party owned states; and that's because they were scheming to make as many of those illegals as possible into voters as soon as they could finish side stepping the laws.
