man, i love it when i expect new interesting things, then get remodels and one new f**king item that's basically pointless

Well personally i'm actually really hyped for this "Basically useless item" because it'll let me keep my pets babies forever, which is something i've wanted in the game for quite a while. Not all updates have to be this amazing, game-changing thing dude. Sometimes you just have to learn to enjoy the little things.

i get some people like the update and its cute, but in the grand scheme of things, this update is actual trash. the spear update was just as small, but it added something that you WILL encounter, and a new weapon. most updates, even the trial chambers, are things you have to go out of your way to find, which yeah, EXPLORATION, but the older big updates like the cave and nether update were great, because you HAD to encouter them, it wasnt a choice.

It’s a cute update and I love the idea, but sk1zzi0 has a point, Mojang is a massive team with hundreds of people, you don’t think they could try to add something else to the update along with the baby mobs + flower? The average person could make that mob update on blockbench in a couple days

Okay, i get everyone's frustrated and all, but this meme was supposed to be something positive and silly, and just me sharing my hype for what in my opinion, feels like a cool drop and fun new features to play around with. You don't have to be happy about it, but i don't appreciate you spreading negativity on a post that wasn't meant to be taken that seriously in the first place. If you want to complain, do it on a meme that's also complaining about your same issue. I'm not trying to make any sort of statement, or prove some kind of point to you guys, and please, leave this post alone if all you're going to do is complain.

Nah, it's okay. I just get really exhausted seeing so much negative stuff online, and i get a little defensive when people start talking badly about something i enjoy.
Being able to handle drama or discourse is something i've yet to master and i probably shouldn't be on the internet at the level of emotional maturity i'm at, at this point in my life, but alas. ;-;

I definitely understand why the update could feel a bit disappointing or underwhelming though, especially considering how big of a team mojang is.
