Also, you don't have to take these tips, but i learned this from my art class!!
If you'd like colors to mix more evenly, draw them in small circles that fall into each other (like scribble evenly in a circular way)
Also if you'd like the shapes to line up more evenly, start with a light, blocky sketch that lines up easier and then draw the outline in a slightly darker way so you can erase it if you mess up but it still wont erase when you erase the blocky stuff! ^^
