If they keep it up...the honeymoon period where folks still see them as having some sort of authority will end and violence will eventually beget violence. As the meme says...your government is supposed to keep the peace, not break it.

Laws are meaningless if the ones in power are not accountable themselves. From the lowest thug to the highest office they are all doing their best to use violence, coercion, and propaganda to do anything and everything they want. I opposed the left when they were shit heads...now I oppose the right because they are shit heads. This is all an attempt to consolidate power and see how quickly they can get folks to knuckle under. But a government which does not represent the needs and desires of the people should butt the hell out. A government which does not listen, should back off until it learns to listen. The Tenth Amendment exists for precisely these times.
