They’ve almost perfectly recreated the Dragon style, but with a few caveats. They kept the weird swing grab from Kiwami 2 except it’s with the Y button now instead of B.
Praise be to Majima they brought back motorcycle grabs. It was a crime to leave them out of Kiwami 2.
They changed some of the dialogue (at least in subtitles) which I immediately noticed. One of the most stand-out scenes in the original is Kiryu making fun of Rikiya’s Viper tattoo by calling it “a cute snake”. That sends Rikiya into a rage and they fight. But in this game he just says “is that a snake?”… which is just inferior.
