So in a few months, we're going to have a big final exam for 8th graders. It's like a mini graduation exam.
Currently, I'm in a physics-geography block. (We have 3 blocks: history-literature, physics-geography and chemistry-biology. These alternate every 3 weeks. There's always a project associated with any of the current block subjects and my class of 32 is divided into 8 teams of four people. Each team needs to do the project in the 3 week timeframe. There's always some sort of groupwork.)
Our task is:
We have 16 different "theses" of every theme in physics that we learned so far. Out of the class, 2 people do the exact same thesis. They can help each other, but they can't copy each other's work.
Remember about groupwork? Well, that's just thrown out of the window for this project, because there are no elements tying the teams of 4 together.
Back to the project, we have 5 things to do:
-We have to generate an analysis of the material that is used for your thesis with NotebookLM. It can either be a draft of some sort, or a big text. To determine which one the individual uses, the 2 people discuss it.
-We have to generate a video analysis of the material used for the thesis with NotebookLM. It can either be sound-only, or a video. To determine which one the individual uses, the 2 people discuss it.
-We have to generate an infographic of the material used for the thesis with NotebookLM.
-We have to put the prompts we used, and the final version of the text/draft in a document.
-We have to make a reflection (reflexió) by answering questions.
The video/sound and the infographics have to be uploaded to a shared Google Drive folder.
The document have to be uploaded to Google Classroom.
Honestly, it's simpler for me to do this project.
There are 2 reasons:
1. We're using AI for this project.
2. There is no group work between the 4 of us.
It's simpler maybe because I'm introverted.
