Sadly, some insurance companies try to cheat firefighters out of compensation for their injuries and illnesses by saying that they weren't wearing their protective equipment at all or that they weren't wearing it "properly". How sick is that? If my house catches on fire and the fire department saves me, I'm going to be eternally thankful to those firefighters, not complaining about how they were dressed!
